Died: May 21, 2025 in Bloomington, IL
Patricia "Patty" Ann Jenkins, 73 of Long Point passed away Wednesday, (May 21, 2025) at OSF St. Joseph Medical, Bloomington.
Memorial services will be held Saturday (June 7th) 1pm at the First Assembly of God Church, Streator.
Patty was born on November 9, 1951 in Streator to Lawrence J. and Juanita L. (Lowery) Cook.
Surviving is her husband David Jenkins of Long Point, children,Nichole (Gary) Grohler of Bloomington, Michelle (Daron) Gray of Long Point, Sarah Jenkins of Streator, Josh (Jamaica) Jenkins of Streator and Jessica (Robert) Hoffmeyer of Pontiac, 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, sisters, Elaine (Don) Goerne of Streator, Joyce Cook of Long Point and Lisa (David) Rhodes of Long Point and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Michael, Neil, Steven, David, Dannie and Dennis, sisters Loretta and Phyllis.
Patty attended Woodland School and was formerly employed at Good Samaritan Home in Flanagan as a C.N.A. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, bird watching and especially watching the neighborhood kids playing.
Memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
