Died: May 21, 2021 in Port Charlotte, FL
Richard Andrew (Rickie) Pastorik 63, passed away May 21, 2021 at Bayfront Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida. A memorial service will be held on June 12, 2021 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Ottawa Il.
Visitation will be at 10 am one hour before the service to be held at 11.
Rick was born in Ottawa on February 16,1958 to Robert and Pearl Pastorik. He attended schools in Ottawa and graduated from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He married Melynn Thompson on Sept. 13,1980.
He was a steel hauler for several years. Rickie enjoyed fishing and loved to travel.
He is survived by his wife Melynn of Port Charlotte. His Mother Pearl Pastorik of Ottawa, Brothers Robert (Deb) Pastorik of DesMoines Ia, Ronald (Cindy) Pastorik of Ottawa, and Randall (Kari) Pastorik of Marseilles. Sisters Robeth (Larry) Parisot of Ottawa and Renee (Rod) Brady of Marseilles.
Also nephews Nathan (Samantha), Ryan, Jason (Lindsey), Jordan (Sarah), and Thore Pastorik, Andrew (Ashley) Kennealy and Riley Brady, Nieces Kristal (Thomas) Plemmons, Samantha (Denny Vahle) Pastorik, Amanda (Lee) Diederich, Jennifer (Justin )Bayer, Mariah (Andrew) Applebee, and Leigha(Brandt)Nicholson. Also several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
