Died: July 7, 2025 in Marseilles, IL
Ruby M. Doyle, 96, of Marseilles, formerly of Channahon, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, at her home.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, July 14 at Parkview Baptist Church in Marseilles. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. John Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles is entrusted with arrangements.
Ruby was born on January 28, 1929, in Vance, MS, to Wiley and Gussie (White) Cutts. In 1948, she married William Doyle of Cleveland, MS, who preceded her in death in 2013.
Ruby was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Marseilles.
She is survived by her children, Jenny (Albert) Posego, Phillip Doyle, and David Doyle, a daughter-in-law, Sherry Doyle; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; one son, William Doyle; one grandson, Brian William Doyle; four brothers; and one sister.
Memorials may be directed to Parkview Baptist Church.
Her grandsons will be pallbearers.

The Doyle family were among the first families we met when we moved to Illinois in 1959! Our families were founding members of the first Baptist Church of Channahon and the Doyles and Brookses were close for many years! Ruby was such a sweet lady and had the biggest heart! She will be missed by many who knew and loved her! Ruby, Dub and my parents are rejoicing in Heaven reunited again at the feet of Jesus! With love and fond memories, on behalf of the Brooks family!

Phillip, Jenny and David I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I first met your mom in 1957 when she and your dad moved into our neighborhood. I made friends with your brother Bill as he was only a year older than me and we remained friends until his passing. I remember your mom's kindness in making a special cake for my high school graduation. Take comfort in knowing she's reunited with your dad and Bill. Rest in peace Ruby and thank you for always welcoming me into your home all those years.
