Rudolph Gandolfi Obituary
Rudolph "Rudy" Gandolfi passed away on November 9, 2020, and his wife of 71 years, Mary Ellen "Peachy" Gandolfi passed away May 11, 2021.
A Celebration of Life to honor the couple will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Elks Lodge in Oglesby. Formal services will begin at 3 p.m. with full military rites conducted by the La Salle-Oglesby Veterans Memorial Group, followed by a brief service by the Elks and
a memorial service officiated by Rev. Marc Strand. Burial will be at a later date in DuPue Cemetery. The family wishes to comply with current health department recommendations regarding masks. While they are preferred, they will be optional.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Prey-Mueller Funeral Home, Oglesby, and the Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Gandolfi.

Miss Peach was a great woman! I met her when I worked at the I80 McDonald's in Peru. She would come in for coffee and gossip. I still have a gift that she gave me for my birthday ~ a 1993 penny with a candle cut out. It has been on every set of car keys that I have owned since then. My sincerest condolences to her family on her passing.

She was a true classy lady who was always there for her friends. While she may not have been able to walk a lot, her sporty red car gave her legs. She could start a conversation with anyone and have them laughing in minutes. While I don’t see cardinals in California, if I did, I would know it was Peachy. ❤
