Sandra B. Mattas, 77 of Streator passed away Sunday (December 8, 2024) at the ARC, Streator.
Sandra was born on March 16, 1947, in Streator to George and Helen (Rogowicz) Mattas.
Surviving are close friends, Michelle Henne, Edna Schmitz, Dianna Pomeranke, Beverly Cebulko and Bill Trelease and her care giver Donna Lee.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a dear friend Kaye Koltveit.
Sandra graduated from Streator High School in 1965 and Rockford School of Business and Engineering in 1968. She was formerly employed at Pioneer Life Insurance Co., Thatcher Glass in account payable, Anthony Co., Heritage Manor, St. Mary's Hospital in home Health Department, Country Companie Insurance in Pontiac and Help at Home, Inc.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul.
A visitation will be held Saturday (Dec. 21st) from 9 – 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church with a funeral mass following at 10a.m. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
The Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
