Visitation Service for “Digger” Dan Mitchell, age 51 of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held from 4:00–6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home, Sulphur Springs, TX. Mr. Mitchell passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in Tyler, TX.
Dan Mitchell was born on July 8, 1972 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Madison Greg and Janet (Gowin) Mitchell. Digger loved playing his guitar and NASCAR.
He is survived by his sons, Dillon Mitchell of Sulphur Springs, Dalton Mitchell of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Brooklynn Mitchell, Kaycee Mitchell, Emry Mitchell; aunts and uncles, Tena and Kevin Wilks, Dana and Glenn Wilhite, Rhonda Gowin, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Digger was preceded in death by his parents, Greg and Janet Mitchell.
