Marie was born in Horwood, Newfoundland, Canada, November 13, 1932 a daughter of Chelsey and Naomi (Penny) Noble.
She leaves four sons, Bob Sargent and his wife, Lisa, of Cape Cod, MA, Jerry Sargent and his wife, Renee, of Rhode Island, Dave Sargent and Tammy Hampson of Shirley, MA and Joe Sargent of Shirley, MA; her daughter, Cyndi Crews of Springfield, MO; her brothers, Donald Noble and Gordon Noble both of Newfoundland, Canada. Nine grandchildren, J.J. Sargent, Amber DuBois, Tina Sargent, Joe-Joe Sargent, Jr., Tabitha Crews, Jake Sargent, Danny Crews, Ben Sargent, Luke Sargent; three great grandchildren; Breckon Smith, Brooks Crews, Owen Sargent.
Her husband, Merrill E. Sargent, died in November 2004. She was the sister of the late Baxter Noble and Sadie Ginn both of Newfoundland.
She enjoyed bowling as well as playing bingo and bunko.
Marie's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 2- 4 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, (Rte2A) Ayer. A prayer service will be offered at 4 PM Saturday in the funeral home.
Spring interment will be in Village Cemetery, Shirley.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly invites memorial contributions to The Clear Path for Veterans Service Dog Program, 84 Antietam St, PO Box 2073, Devens, MA 01434
