He was born March 26,1969 to A. Michael Jacobs Sr. and Anita P. Jacobs in Sanford, Maine.
Mike was a veteran of the United States Army where he received a nursing degree, going on to become an LPN. He was of Catholic faith.
He was a devoted fan of his New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and the Boston Bruins. He enjoyed singing karaoke, cooking, and traveling with his family. One of his favorite trips was attending a Rays' game in St. Petersburg with his father. He loved to laugh and had a zest for life. He was fun-loving and could brighten anyone's day with his quick wit.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Anita P. Jacobs.
Surviving are his father, A. Michael Jacobs Sr.; three sisters, Shannon, Kristin, and Tracey (Jason Totten) Jacobs; and several nieces and nephews, whom he loved like they were his own.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7 PM at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel with a Rosary Service at 6:30 PM.
Funeral Mass will be held at 1 PM at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Father Gabe Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at the Catholic Cemetery of Savannah.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The family has entrusted Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel with services. 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406 (912)927-1999.
