My husband and I learned about Lt. Crook while camping in Bluestone State Park June 3. We were so amazed at the huge funeral procession - we stopped our car and just watched. He was apparently a well loved man. We express our condolences. God bless the family.

I was Aarons roommate in engineer school for heavy equipment school for 3 months. Im so sorry for your loss. Aaron was a great marine.I still have pictures of us from engineer school. We had some good times in school and talked for a while after we left the schoolhouse for a few years but ended up drifting apart and hadn't talked for a few years. I am so sorry to the family for your loss. Semper Fi Marine!

We were very sorry to hear about Aaron's passing. We and our church have been praying for you. We were sorry when Kenny told us that it was your husband who had died. We had heard about it on the news here in St. Albans. We send our love and prayers.

Words can not describe the void Aaron's untimely death has caused in the Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney's office. Aaron was a warm, caring, dedicated professional who we all respected and admired. You will be sorely missed my friend.

My condolences to Aaron's family, friends, and fellow officers. I met Aaron through fishing with the Mountain State Kayak Anglers. He had a passion for fishing and was really good at it. Aaron was a great tournament angler that really excelled in the tournaments where most other people struggled. No matter what, he always seemed to catch his limit regardless of how tough the conditions were. After the tournaments, he was always seen standing around smiling and having a good time. Thank you for your service to our country and state. RIP

Not only has our church lost a member, but his wife and two babies have lost their husband and father. A mother and mother and father- law have lost their son. Brothers have lost their brother. All this because Aaron was dedicated to serving and protecting, not only the good people of Mercer County but the country as a whole. May he Rest In Peace in the arms of his Father and may his Father wrap his arms around Aaron's family and give them peace and comfort. God bless you all.

my teenage daughter had car issues earlier this month on rt 460. Lt. Crook sat with her for about 45 min til I could get there and we get a wrecker to tow her car. I was so appreciative of his kindness he made sure she was safe and also that the wrecker service had a safe path to get her car. I'm so heart broken for his family. Praying for all involved
