Aaron Harris Evans

Aaron was a very special friend of mine for over 50 years. He was a great painter and even helped me wallpaper a room over existing wallpaper that did not want to come off of paneling. It was during this time that I met Gage and again when I had a lawnmower that needed another home and some TLC.
I enjoyed his stories about being in service in Alaska and his exploits. I hurt for him when he could no longer drive. I admired his faithfulness. He kept his promises. He was a good honest man. I will miss talking to him on the phone usually when a golf tournament or a western was on television and meeting for the pizza buffet in Mount Olive or at B & G grill in Goldsboro. RIP, Aaron....my friend.
