Aaron joined the service during the trials of Viet Nam and soon found himself helping survivors of a devastating earthquake in Nicaragua. His service and fidelity to our nation, bravely continued through Desert Storm, as well as a dedicated career.
Growing up in Houston, he faced adversity and hardship, but it forged him into a fine and helpful soul, and would serve him ably in his career and in the lives of many close to him.
He had an easy, reassuring way about him; a jovial way that makes a doctor's finest bedside manner. My deepest thanks also go to him for a personal debt of gratitude. After years of failing my driver's test for lack of help, he taught me how to drive and let me take a test in his brand new car ..... he was like a wise and generous older brother to me.
I had the distinct honor to serve with him when he was a Medic in a Medevac helicopter unit. In desperate, critical moments, he turned death into a fighting chance for life, he made a difference. Respectfully, profoundly, I have to convey the thanks of a nation, he was so willing to give his tomorrows to loyally and tenaciously defend. Many people are alive and well today because of his devoted commitment, sacrifices and valor. In nurturing and protecting our future, he helped not only to win The Cold War, but we are a better and safer nation today thanks to his selflessness and his personal heroism.

May the road rise up to greet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Rest in peace kind, gallant and brave old friend,

Frank Toth, Wantage, N.J.
