Aaron Saeler Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Parker-Millard Funeral Service and Crematory on Mar. 9, 2026.
Aaron Thomas Saeler, 53, passed away on March 5, 2026, at home in Ashland, Missouri. He was born on November 9, 1972, in Scottsdale, Arizona, to James Richard Saeler and Leslie Kay Lindholm.

Aaron was known for his warm personality and outgoing spirit. Gregarious by nature, he rarely met a stranger and was quick with a joke or a story that could bring laughter to any room. Those who knew him will remember his big personality, sense of humor, and his ability to make people feel welcome.

A talented cook, Aaron spent time working as a sous chef with Hilton and developed a strong appreciation for food and hospitality. He also had a refined interest in wine and enjoyed the culture surrounding it. In his younger years, Aaron loved motorcycles and the freedom of the open road. As a teenager, he played guitar in a band and carried his love of music throughout his life. He later took up trap shooting and enjoyed the focus and camaraderie it brought.

Aaron was also a devoted sports fan who proudly supported the Missouri Tigers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Whether watching a game, sharing a meal, or telling a joke, Aaron valued time spent with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Leslie Kay (Jeff) McFarland; his children, Vincent Saeler and Tessa Hildebrand; his grandchildren, Oliver Saeler and Amelia Hildebrand; and his sister, Cassandra (Brian) Matthews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Richard Saeler.

Aaron will be remembered for his laughter, his generous spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
