Abbigail J. (Adkins) Caribardi passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, after a 2-year battle with cancer, surrounded by family and friends.
Born March 24, 1985 in St. Joseph, Missouri, Abbi graduated from East Buchanan High School in 2003. After high school, Abbi went on to graduate from The Beauty University in St. Joseph, receiving her Missouri Board of Cosmetology license in 2005. A skilled stylist, she worked in several salons for the past 20 years, and ran her own salon prior to her illness.
In her spare time, she enjoyed lake life with her family and friends, riding side-by-sides at the sand dunes in Oklahoma, fishing, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. She was a lover of all animals. Abbi was one of a kind, hardworking, independent. Her son was her everything. Abbi was saved and baptized at Trimble Baptist Church.
Abbi is preceded in death by her father, Doug Adkins; paternal grandparents, Frank and Reba Adkins; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Charlotte McDowell; and uncle, David McDowell.
She is survived by her husband, Danny; son, Tucker; stepchildren, Sydney, Anthony and Taylor; brothers, Shannon and James O'Brien, and Sean Alexander; parents, Jennifer and Terry O'Brien; several aunts, uncles and other family members.
