Abbie F. McGee

Funeral services for Abbie Frances McGee, age 91 of Henderson, will held Wednesday September 15, 2010 at 10:00am in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. Lynn Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Heights Cemetery in Mt. Enterprise. Mrs. McGee died Monday September 13, 2010 in a local nursing facility. Mrs. McGee was born February 19, 1919 in Jennings, La. to Sidney & Emma Ford, she was a homemaker and faithful member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Claude McGee. She is survived by her son John Sidney Phillips and wife Sue of Carthage; grandchildren Kim Showdens and husband Mike of Deberry, and John Phillips Jr. of Carthage; sister Gertrude Robinson of Welsh, La.; several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will meet friends from 9am ~ 10am before the service at the funeral home.
