Abbigail Strouse, age 78, of London, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Born on April 28th, 1947, in Glen Alum, West Virginia. Her life was a testament to the strength of the human spirit, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege to know her.
Abbigail was a dedicated homemaker whose love for her family was evident in all she did. She was the heart of her home, always filling it with warmth and the irresistible aroma of her unbeatable biscuits.
Being a fan of the Price is Right show, her laughter and cheers echoing through the house during every episode. Abbigail was also a woman of deep faith. Her love for the Lord was unwavering, and this guided her throughout her life. She also enjoyed time spent crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Kessie Miller, and her siblings, Granville Miller, Esther Miller, and Charlotte Davis
Abbigail is survived by her loving sons, Robert Strouse, Todd Strouse, Jonathan Strouse (Leigh Ellen); grandchildren, Alexandra Gonzalez, Deven Strouse, Olivia Jackson, Elyssa Strouse, Jacob Strouse, Jackson Strouse; great-grandchildren, Piper, Samuel, Weston, and Osiel III; and her brothers Michael Miller and Bob Miller.
Visitation for Abbigail will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 11:00 am until 12 noon at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Her funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm. with Rev. Josh Pollitt officiating.
