Abby Michelle Humphries, 22, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024. A native of Rutherford County, she was born on April 12, 2001, daughter of David Humphries and Anna Marie Morrison, also Larry and Theresa (Tecie) Humphries.

In addition to her parents, Abby is survived by her sisters, her twin-Heidi Lynn Humphries and another sister, Kayla Marie Morrison, her paternal grandparents, Larry and Theresa (Tecie) Humphries and her maternal grandparents, Jerry and Darlene Lovelace, two nieces, Madison Denise Pugh and Maci Melton, one nephew, Brayden Melton. 

Abby had attended Crest High School. She had a love for plants, rocks, and any animal she encountered. She was a “daddy’s girl” calling him every night, she was also pawpaw’s girl as well, but she had a special bond with her twin sister, Heidi.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 1-2pm at Cleveland Funeral Service. 

A funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in the chapel of Cleveland Funeral Service officiated by Rev. Mike Gettys and Rev. Allen Terry. Burial will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to Clifford's Army Rescue P.O. Box 370 Earl, NC 28038.
