Abby Skiles Obituary
Abby will be remembered for her spunky spirit and outgoing nature, a woman who lived life boldly and on her own terms. She was known for being hardheaded and stubborn, yet beneath that strong exterior was a sweetness and a heart of gold that touched everyone who knew her. Abby had a deep sense of justice and could never tolerate cruelty, especially toward children or animals, always standing up for those who could not defend themselves. Music was one of her greatest passions, and she was rarely without a song playing, finding joy in sharing her favorite tunes with family and friends. Her vibrant personality, fierce compassion, and love for life will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Abby is survived by her mother and father in law, Tanya and Charles Patterson of Mena; maternal grandfather, Ricky Edward Skiles of Missouri; her maternal grandmother, Annette of Washington; grandfather, Charles Patterson; her daughter, Octavia; three brothers, Nathaniel Barton of Missouri, Mathew and Leiana Barton of North Carolina, Brandon Skiles; two sisters, Alicia Skiles of Texas, Katherine and Edgar Delgado of Fort Smith; several nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held once arrangements have been made. Arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
