Abdul Muhaimin Shamsuddin, age 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026 with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Jalilah, Cherished father of Hakeemah (Adrian Kirkland), Fareed Shamsuddin and A. Muhaimin (Mindy Oquendo) Shamsuddin II. Loving " ah poppi " of Ashanti, Jaleel, Austin and Imani. Fond brother of Vera, Bennie, Mattie B.,Gail, Doronetta and Otis and the lateEdie, Sylvester and Reynold. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a man of many talents, he loved music and loved to dance, he was a great photographer who took pride in his work. He loved his family very much.
