Dr Blazer and I only overlapped one year at SPU, but I remember him well. We mostly know and love the Balzers through Cary and Tracy as colleagues in Free Methodist pastoral ministry in Seattle and in academia. We were so blessed to spend a week with them on Iona in 2023 and reunite, sharing about our many years out of Seattle. Our hearts go out to them during this time of loss, knowing that love means pain, but it is stronger than death. God bless your entire family as you go forward, holding on to one another. With much love, Karen and Dale Winslow

Lee was a consummate gentleman and Christian witness at Seattle Pacific. He was one of several responsible for hiring me at SPU back in 1986, I was there for 37 years, retiring just recently. I still remember him taking me to lunch to recruit me and the many times I came across him on campus- always a smile, upbeat, and encouraging, he was a blessing to so many, the Heavenly family is now enjoying him, Alberto Ferreiro, Emeritus
