Abel Angel Vasquez, born on December 22, 1985, departed from this world far too soon on January 14, 2025. A man whose presence was felt in every room he entered, Abel was known for his big heart, his contagious laugh, and his ability to forge connections with anyone fortunate enough to meet him. Often dubbed "Pariente," he embraced the title with a playful spirit, forever the jokester who lingered in the hearts of his friends and family.
A proud graduate of Tracy High School in California, Class of 2007, Abel was a man dedicated to maintaining his passions—spending countless hours in the gym, wearing his dedication like a badge of honor. He would become fraught with anxiety if he ever missed a day, embodying the essence of a gym rat. His love for physical fitness, combined with his warm spirit and vibrant personality, endeared him to many.
Abel was more than just an athlete; he was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. He leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Jane Vasquez, and his siblings—Ivy Sanchez (Jose), Naomi Villa (Jonathan), Saul Vasquez (Melissa), Sarah Juarez (Jorge). Abel also cherished the joyful titles of Tio to many: Jose Sanchez, Ashleigh Sanchez, Vicente Bojorquez, Angelo Sanchez, Soraya Sanchez, Francisco Perez, Jorgie Juarez, Miguel Perez, Geneya Sanchez, Jisella Juarez, Iviana Sanchez, Noemi Perez, Arianna Villa, Sophia Juarez, Xochitl Sanchez, Sammy Juarez, and Marcelo Villa. To all of them, he was always the fun Tio , proudly reveling in family moments with unrestrained joy.
Abel is preceded in death by his father, Angel M. Vasquez, who will forever be in his heart and memory.
While he relished his days surrounded by loved ones, Abel also found solace in the simple pleasures of life. He delighted in maintaining his long hair, often seeking out opportunities to have it braided. His heart drew him to the exhilarating vibe of Southern California and Tijuana, where the sun, culture, and vibrancy reflected his exuberance for life.
Though the world has dimmed with the sudden and unexpected passing of Abel, his legacy is rich with laughter, camaraderie, and love that will persist long after his departure. His memory is etched into the hearts of those he touched, a warm beacon in the lives of many.
Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Abel's life on January 21, 2025, at the Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Greenridge Chapel in Greenfield, WI. The visitation will commence at 4:00 PM and continue until 7:00 PM—a time to share stories, cherish memories, and honor the unforgettable spirit of a remarkable man who passed through this world, leaving it infinitely brighter.
Rest in peace, dear Abel Angel Vasquez. Your laughter will continue to echo in our hearts.
