Weslaco, Texas - Abel Ubaldo Vela, 63, passed away to be with the Lord on January 22, 2025, at Solara Hospital in Brownsville.
Baldo was born on July 11, 1961, in Weslaco, TX to Mr. Margarito Vela & Mrs. Maria R. Palomo.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Melva Vela & America V. Leal.
Abel Ubaldo Vela is survived by his son, Pedro Vela; 3 daughters, Vanessa Vela (Jesse Gonzales), Ariana C. Vela (Leonel Rodriguez), Sabel Vela (Robert Marez); two brothers, Alfredo Vela (Lupita) & Adan Vela (Maria Felipa). Also surviving are three grandchildren, Leonardo Rodriguez, Aleena Rodriguez & Molly Marez.
Visitation for Abel Ubaldo Vela is scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of Faith with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Crematory in Donna, TX.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
