Abigail Emory "Abby" Harrison

Abigail "Abby" Emory Harrison, 19, of Nashville, born on March 16, 2006, passed away January 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Abby was a friend to all. A truly beautiful soul who added love and grace to this world without ever saying a word. Abby taught her family and friends that a simple life is beautiful. May we never take for granted the lessons Abby taught us. Abby enjoyed traveling, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family. She entered this world greeted by parents who loved her completely. She left surrounded by that same love. Abby, we are better for having known you.

Abby is survived by her mother, Angela Gowen Harrison; Father, Steven Marshall Harrison; Sister, Norah Harrison; Brother, Declan Harrison; Grandparents, Kristine Gowen, Kevin Gowen, Sr., and Anne Harrison.

Natural burial will take place on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Larkspur Conservation- Taylor Hollow, 155 Bear Carr Rd, Westmoreland, TN 37186, at 11am.

What to expect at a natural burial:

Dress for an outdoor hike and wear appropriate shoes.

Use the restroom before you arrive, there is no public toilet or running water.

Carpool to Larkspur - parking is limited.

Plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of time.

Family and friends will be welcomed at the trailhead by Larkspur staff and volunteers.

The casket or body will be in place at the graveside prior to the arrival of family and friends.

Family and friends will hike up the hill into the nature preserve for the burial ceremony.

Words are shared and the casket or body is lowered into the grave by family and friends.

With guidance the family and friends shovel soil into the grave until it is closed.

Hike away from the graveside and return to your vehicle or explore the preserve.

Leave no trash behind.
