Mr. Abraham Digsby

Mr. Abraham Digsby, 89, of Dikeman Street, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019. He was the widower of Madeline (Stephens) Digsby. Mr. Digsby was born on June 5, 1930, in Free Hill, St. Mary, Jamaica a son to the late Earnest Digsby and Ethlyn Reid. Mr. Digsby was a member of Shalom S.D.A. Church in Waterbury, where he served as a Deacon for several years. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking and baking. Little did we know that after tucking you in your bed that night, God planned on calling your name. In life, we loved you dearly and we do the same in death. Abraham is survived by Nine children; Charles (Eileen) Digsby of Waterbury, Dorothy (Newton) Wedderburn of New Jersey, Thelma (Basil) Richards of Sebring, FL, Headley (Opal) Digsby of St. Mary, Jamaica, Patrica (Clifford ) Medder of Clermont, FL, Leary Digsby of Bridgeport, CT, Dorrette (Victor) Daley of Wellington, FL, Donnett (Byron) Bunting of Southington, CT and Olga Digsby of Bridgeport, CT, three sisters; Monica McNeil of Acworth, GA, Greta Hibbert, Carmeta Mckai, both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, thirty one grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
