Ada Baker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wilson-Robison Funeral Home on Feb. 2, 2026.
Ada "Virginia" (Miller) Baker, 85, of England, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her home on February 2, 2026. She was born, November 14, 1940, in Humnoke, Arkansas to the late Cecil and Pearl Miller. She is preceded in death by both parents, her brother Eugene, brother Jackie, sister Dean, her son Harris Lynn, and her late husband H.L. Baker Jr.

Virginia is survived by her brother Jimmy (Sally) Miller of England Arkansas, her sister Nancy Frazier of Stuttgart ,Arkansas
four precious daughters, Beverly (Harvey) De La Rosa of Keo, Arkansas, Sylvia (Timmy) Brown, Michelle Krisell, and Renée (Jeff) Hargraves, all of England Arkansas. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, Nick (Tiffany) Brown, Tracey (Lacye) Blake, Adam (Rebecca) Brown, Yolonda Soleé, Ian Soleé, Shelbie Krisell, Samantha Brown, Lucas (Amber) Hargraves, Bill (Sabrina) Krisell, Rylee (Keith) Luna, and Aiden (Laci) Krisell. She also had an abundance of great-grandchildren, Nick Jr., Bella, Traejon, Jordan, Dallas, Drew, Brady, Jonah, Traylen, Nehemiah, Kynnedi, Hudson, Sutton, Jodi, Crosby, Bentley, Levi, Avery, Isla, and Adleigh.

Virginia resided in England most of her years. As being a wife of over 63 years, she was devoted to raising her kids, as well as spoiling her grandchildren. She was adamant to never miss celebrating a birthday. Spending time with family was her currency, and it was evident of how rich a life she lived. Her generosity and gift-giving always led her to be a favorite of all her grandkids, as well as any of their friends that visited Nana's house. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and constantly reminded you of "the good Lord." She spent many days waiting in line picking up and dropping off grandkids at school. She loved to laugh and play pranks, many are still haunted by her life-size baby doll. She loved gardening as well as decorating. She also invested much time going to yard sales and watching HGTV, Food Network, and American Pickers. She enjoyed socializing and sipping coffee at the local service stations, as well as sitting around the kitchen table discussing all the world's matters. She loved listening to her favorite musician Fats Domino. She also enjoyed spending her evenings lounging with her husband watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She never missed a moment of sharing the wisdom she collected over the years. If you knew her, you knew her heart was big; for this reason, her love will be forever felt.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 7th at Wilson-Robison Funeral Home in England. Obit was written by the family
