I met Miss Ada Johnson because she was a friend of my moms. After my mom passed away Miss Ada invited me to her house and that was the beginning of a wonderful friendship. I often visited her at home & enjoyed being around her. I heard about her life overall: her upbringing, her travels, her children & most of her family in Alaska & other states. She was not only funny, wise, knowledgeable - she was fun to be around. But most of all she loved the Lord & always gave him the glory for guiding her in her life all these many years . I will continue to keep her family in my prayers. Miss Ada - I will miss you.

I remember when my Aunt Doll would encourage me to keep reaching my goals as I journeyed through life as a teenage mother.
She always told me to keep God first. Aunt Doll asked me to visit her for 2 weeks to help her, but my work schedule didn´t allow it.
Aunt Doll, you will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for being an example in my life of servant hood, love and an expression of God´s grace, mercy and favor. I love you, always.

Dr Lawrence Ellison, Senior Pastor St John Baptist Church, Fairbanks, Ak.
Though Mother Ada lived in Anchorage, she would still join with us online for Bible Study every Wednesday and Missionary "Open Windows" study every Friday evening. She also enjoyed participating in Prayer Band every Saturday morning.
We enjoyed visiting with her every time we came to Anchorage. We will miss this powerful woman of God.

My first memory of Dr. Mother Ada Johnson is when we first met years ago at a WMU Conference in Anchorage. She made a lasting impression in my life about being steadfast in the Lord regardless of the trials and tribulations. It was so good to see her at WMU Celebration this past April. Little did I know it would be our last time seeing each other. But God knew. We last spoke when she removed from ICU and put on the floor of the hospital. We talked and laughed about some things and before we got off the line I prayed for her. That´s how I´ll remember her as a sweet angel, full of the Holy Spirit. May Mother Ada rest well in the kingdom.

My dearest mother, I am truly missing you since you entered God's Kingdom. Just know that we will see each other again, that is the day I pray for. Hugs and kisses, sweet mom. In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.
