Mrs. Ada E. (Schiel) Lynch, 81, of Fleetwood, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

Born August 17, 1944, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Ada was the daughter of the late William A. and Martha A. (Williams) Schiel. She and her husband of 58 years, James W. Lynch, were married in Wilkes-Barre, PA on August 12, 1967.

Ada was a 1962 graduate of Coughlin High School. She worked as the comptroller for Petroleum Service Company, Wilkes-Barre. She attended St. John's United Church of Christ, Kutztown, and enjoyed volunteering at Friend, Inc. and the Fleetwood Public Library. Ada loved reading, going to the gym and working on photo albums.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Jim, are her children, Dr. James A. Lynch, Leesport, PA, and Dr. Amy Lynch-Biniek, wife of Matthew Biniek, Lyon Station. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Maureen and Ada, and by her nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her sister, Lois A. Webb and her brother, William A. Schiel.

Services for Ada will be held privately by her family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ada's memory to Friend, Inc., 658D Noble Street, Kutztown, PA, 19530 or to Animals In Distress, PO Box 609, Coopersburg, PA 18036.
