Ada Irma Torres, 91, Passed away peacefully in her home on January 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. A loving mother, grandmother and Great grandmother, who would always put others before herself. She was preceded in death by her Parents and her son Carlos Limardo. She is survived by her children; Toña, Wilfredo, Carmen Eva, Maruja, Margie, Betti, Castro, Agnes, Adalberto, Alfredo, Idamis, Elizabeth and her sister Magdalene Rivera. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren with many nieces, nephews’ family and friends.
Ada, while living in Puerto Rico, graduated with her G.E.D. and continued her education obtaining a degree in nursing. She was a longtime member of the Iglesia Christiana Jerusalem Church. Some of her favorite things to do, was to play board games, fishing, cooking, gardening and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed. A visitation for Ada, will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the chapel of the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home – Avon Park. The family will reconvene at 2:00 P.M. At the Iglesia Christiana Jerusalem Church for funeral services. It is the family’s wishes that in Lieu of Flowers, offerings could be offered to a charity of your choice.
