Ada Winkley Obituary
Middleport: Ada Jane Winkley, age 84 passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024 at Absolut Care in Gasport. She was born June 2, 1940 in Loyalville, PA to the late Peter and Claire (O'Berst) Eckerd
Ada enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her young years, she enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and doing crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edwin in 2017, son-in-law Gary in 2018 and several of her siblings.
Ada is survived by her children, Lori Gabrys, Debra (Jay) Moore, Lisa (Donald) Smith, Edwin Winkley Jr., Karen (Michael) Punch, grandchildren, Daniel, Heather, Jori (Sean), James, Megan, Hallie (Lance), Emily (Andrew), Michael (Gina), Jessica (Scott) and Quinn. 15 great-grandchildren, several siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ada's family will receive friends at the Middleport Fire Dept. 28 S. Main St. Middleport, NY 14105 on Sunday, December 8th, a memorial service to celebrate Ada’s life will start at 1:00pm with calling hours from 1:30-5:00pm.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Middleport Fire Dept.
