Ada Wise Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Monarch Cremation on Apr. 12, 2025.
Ada Wise, 95 years of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. She was born on July 18, 1929, to the late Henry Lee and Minerva (Walker) Wise. Ada attended school in Houston, MS. As a young woman she married Joseph Allen Kendricks, who passed away early in their marriage.
Ada moved to St. Louis, Missouri in the 1950s to be with her oldest sister, Katie (Wise) Rush. During that time she worked in hospitals and as a Home Health Aide. Through out the years Ada and her siblings, Katie, Willie D., Mary Anna and Murray would often gather at Katie's home to visit with one another.
Ada was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her and she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine loving spirit brought joy to her entire family.
Although Ada is the last of the children of Henry Lee and Minvera, she will be always cherished as an aunt, cousin, and dear friend of many. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her parents; three sisters, Katie Rush, Mary Kendricks and Eileen Wise in infancy; three brothers, Wille D. Wise, Henry Lee Wise Jr., and Murray F. Wise.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
