Adam Stephen Doner

Oh my God! I´m shocked and saddened to hear that Adam is gone. He was one of my favorite people in this world. I don´t know how I missed this. It´s been a few years. I thought he was somewhere enjoying life, playing golf and having fun! He would give me his Heat Tickets and Parking Pass. Life and time goes by so fast. I remember calling him and his number didn´t work. Now I know why. I should not have assumed he changed the number. I should have looked for him then, as I did today. Rest well my friend. Love you! I had the pleasure of working for Adam shortly before his passing. Adam quickly became one of my favorite people. His love of sports kept is what our conversations typically surrounded. Adam was full of unconventional advice for life and I'd chuckle at some of the things he said although they all made sense. Adam threw a beautiful baby shower for me before the birth of my third son. I wish I got to spend more time with him and would have loved to have worked for him at the height of his career. My youngest son is named Adam, more so for my love of the name, but It brings me joy to know he shares a name with such a genuine soul. Rest peacefully, Adam. It was a joy to know you.

I grew up with him in the summers at Clear Lake. I was going through an old photo album and found this picture of Adam as a kid

My Mom knew both of Adam's parents from Manitoba.
I also knew his folks and his sister.
A lovely family, I even knew his grandparents who ran a store in their son's summer resort.
I was raised Lutheran, but Adam was a mensch.

God broke the mold when he made Adam. Adam said “ I never trust anybody that doesn’t drink. “ He is one of my all time favorite people.

Had the true pleasure of calling Adam a friend. Wonderful guy and a first-class colleague.

I am so sad of tjis news. My deepest sympathies to all colleagues family and friends.He was a great man who believed in justice for his clients. He was kind and sincere.. God bless his soul ..We will never forget all he has done for so many that was served injustice .

Adam and I met in high school and fell hard for each other...he was my very first love and I followed him to UF. We lasted all of three minutes there but I will forever cherish the good times we shared. We met again on a plane home from Las Vegas about 20 years ago and reminisced, laughing about how fast time flies and the importance of cherished memories. What a great guy. He will be missed by so many. Sending xo and condolences to the whole Doner family

Adam and I have been friends and colleagues For over 25 years, he was not only a terrific lawyer, but a loyal friend. He was devoted to his family, especially his children. I will miss your smiling face at my office. Rest In Peace my friend. Lauri Goldstein

My brother from another mother Adam whom i met at UF 33 years ago was a larger than life person! we co counseled on cases and traveled internationally and were NSU alumni. Our family all loved him and his personality lives with us all. He and Theresa made many memories with us. We will miss Adam and celebrate his life as he celebrated life daily.

Toby and I just found out about Adam's passing and are heartbroken for his children and family - Brandon was on Toby's golf team at The Benjamin School for years and of course Toby knew him much better - as the coach's wife I only met him at the various golf parties. Will always remember his deep love and pride for both his children . His intensity for life and love just beamed from his soul and his heart. We are just so saddened and shocked to hear this such very sad news. The family is in our hearts and prayers. RIP Adam

What a friend!!! Met Adam on Golf course at lunch. I was FSU grad and he was UF. Adam was a personal injury trial lawyer I am insurance agent multi-line. We were very strange bedfellows but we truly have a kindred spirit he has always supported all of these philanthropic and nonprofit activities that I asked him to support. I will miss him greatly I am so saddened by is passing. His quick wit and humour made him so much fun to be around and he knew when to be serious and to go about taking care of business.
