Adam Keith Sanders

Adam Keith Sanders, 38, passed away on Friday November 28, 2025, at his place of residence. He was the fiancé of Breanna Dail’Gehring. They shared 10 years of partnership together, bringing two beautiful children into the world, with an additional baby due in January 2026.

Born in Craven County, North Carolina, he was the son of Billy Sanders and Sherry Johnson-Kelso. Adam graduated from Pamlico County High School. He also completed the Seafarers International Unions training program with an entry level position OS (Ordinary Seaman) from Piney Point, Maryland.

There were many things Adam enjoyed doing but being out on that water, oystering, driving his truck, and loving on his kids were his favorite. Adam was a son, grandson, uncle, brother, cousin, but most importantly a daddy. Many will miss and cherish the moments we had with him.

He is survived by fiancé Breanna Dail’Gehring; children, Adyson Marie Sanders and Levi Lee Sanders; parents, Billy Sanders, Sherry Johnson-Kelso and stepfather, Bill Kelso; brother, Joshua Sanders; nephew, Elijah Sanders; grandmother, Patricia C. Johnson; in addition to aunts, uncles, many cousins, and friends.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 3 pm at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home. The visitation will be held beginning at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family graciously asks to please donate to a recovery center or any organization that is spreading awareness and relief to victims of addiction. We are in prayer that more knowledge and support is dispersed so lives can be spared from this ongoing battle that many have had to long suffer with their loved ones.
