Adam P. Tarallo, 29, of Newington, loving husband of Kate (Whelan) Tarallo, lost his long battle with cancer on March 27, 2011, surrounded by his family. He was so looking forward to the birth of his son Luke in May. Born on July 1, 1981 in Middletown, he was the son of Frank and Marge (Kelleher) Tarallo of Middletown. Adam was raised in Middletown and graduated from Middletown High School in 2000. He was previously employed by Durham Manufacturing. Adam attended Paier College of Art in Hamden where he was an honor student. His art talent was recognized at an early age and he studied with Mary Geary. He was a fan of the NY Giants, Boston Red Sox, UConn basketball, and loved his vacations in Topsail Island, NC, with his family and friends. His survivors include his brother and sister-in-law David and Janet Tarallo and their children Bryce and Liam of Marlborough; aunt and uncle Joanne and Mac Galo of Crystal River, FL; Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law Bob and Judy Whelan of Newington; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Elizabeth Whelan of Newton, MA, and David Whelan of Newington. He leaves many cousins and dear friends, including his cousins Frank and Nancy Straka of Newington. His family would like to thank Dr. Robert Siegal and his nurses Helen and Ann of the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center at Hartford Hospital, and the doctors, nurses and staff for the special care provided in the intensive care unit at Hartford Hospital. Adam�s family would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to all their friends and family for the remarkable outpouring of unending support and love. Adam�s funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newington Memorial. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for the education of Adam�s son Luke, may be made to Charles Schwab, and mailed to Middle Cove Capital, 65 Main St., Centerbrook, CT 06409 (please note Luke Tarallo�s name in the memo).
