It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Addie Ann Mary Lasseter, who went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 26, 2025. She was 22 years old.
Addie was born to Gene Allen and Cindy Lasseter in New Braunfels, Texas on May 29, 2003, and was a proud graduate of Cuero High School in Cuero, Texas. While there, she was an active member of the choir, sharing her love for music with others. After high school, she continued her education at Texas State University.
A true artist at heart, Addie was an award-winning artist and showcased her talent in various theater productions, including memorable performances in Pinocchio and Mary Poppins. She was also a member of the 2020 Mid-Texas Symphony Guild Debutante class in Seguin, Texas, a testament to her grace and community involvement. Addie was a devout Christian and a blessed missionary for Jesus Christ.
Addie was preceded in death by her beloved Great Grandparents, Louis and Mary Foshee, and Great Grandparents Lieutenant Colonel Murray and Addie McLeod, her uncle, Mike Allman, and her aunt, Kathy Payne.
She is survived by her loving parents, Gene Allen and Cindy Lasseter, and her brother, Cole Lasseter. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Gene and Betty Lasseter and Ed and Patty McLeod, as well as her uncle and aunt, Les and Kelly Valentine, her aunt, Kim Lasseter, her uncle, Mike Payne, her uncle and aunt, Steven McLeod and Brandi McLeod and her cousins Andi Christensen, Jason Payne, Abigail and Amelia McLeod. Addie will be deeply missed by many more loving family members from the Lasseter, Herdejurgen and McLeod families.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Pennington Funeral Home, located at 323 N Comanche St, San Marcos, Texas.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the Hill Country Church, located at 1401 Davis Lane, San Marcos, Texas.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. CT at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery, 6623 I-35, Robinson, Texas.
