Addist Bennett Obituary
Addist was born on Oct. 7, 1930 in Madison, FL and was a son of the late James and Maggie (Thompson) Bennett. After high school, Addist joined the US Army. Then he went on to work at Geneva Foundry for 30+ years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 yrs, Betty Grace (Payne) Bennett of Geneva; children Addist (Anita) Bennett, Jr of Geneva, Constance Abban of Virginia and Gail Mike of Florida; brothers Waldense Bennett of Spencerport, Charlie (Delores) Bennett of Henrietta and Leroy (Willie) Bennett of Rochester; sisters Jaunita Bennett of Texas and Thelma Bennett of Florida; grandchildren Addist (Brandy Stephens) Bennett III, Charmaine (Chris) Chaffin, Patrice Scott, Antonisha Bennett, Rochell Elliott, Devon Elliot, Dominique Abban, Bennett Sumpter, Michelle and Darron Mike; 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Addist is predeceased by his daughter Yolanda Bennett Elliott; daughter-in-law Delores Scott; brothers and sisters.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family
AD was a man I used to tease with for no reason I called him " OLD MAN "
I called Grace to check on them for his birthday had passed
Grace said "I'm going to see if he remember you
First thing yeah you are Rosemary and you call me "OLD MAN " we laugh and told them I would check with them again
This was my relationship with AD

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the Bennett Family during these rather difficult time. The Woody and Bennett Families have been close friends as far I can remember. When our parents passed into the after life, Grace and AD was there to confer my siblings and I. For that support it always be appreciated. Thanks for the special times.
