I never knew you but every year I read the stories of those we lost to honor their memory. You are not forgotten. Rest in peace.

I read Adel's profile, and he seems like a good, honest man. An inocent man. In 2012 we still remember, and I doubt we will forget for a long time...

I'm sorry that you are not here with us anymore and that you came from egypt running away from the evil, i know about egyptians because my daughter is one, half egyptian i must say, and her dad's family is a christian, i know the culture and i can imagine what a great human being you were, i hope your family is okay after 10 years, GOD BLESS YOUR SOUL AND YOUR FAMILY'S TOO

I had the privilege of learning more about Mr. Zakhary through a blogging initiative started in 2006 to each year learn about one person who died on that terrible day. My prayers will be with your family each year now that I have learned about someone who must still be so dearly missed.

I just read Adel's profile. I am inspired to read about him; he sounds like a wonderful man. My prayers are with your family.

One year after, I am again struck by how many wonderful people from all over the world were cut down in the attack on a city that I have loved from when I first came there in '63.

You came from Egypt and died in NY, I came from Holland and lived because although I loved NY my path took me elsewhere.

I greet you and will treasure your memory.

May you rest in peace. You are always in my thoughts and prayers, please be reassured that you will never be forgotten. God Bless.

I lived in Cairo for 2 years and met and loved many Egyptians during that time. Anwar Sadat was one of the greatest leaders this world has ever known. I was honored to type a contract that Sadat signed and enjoyed the opportunity to meet many Americans and Europeans who were in Egypt to help the country recover. My heart goes out to you and your country. So glad that you made it to my country. Hope you enjoyed and loved the USA as much as I loved exploring your country. Riding those beautiful Arabians (mares and stallions) across the desert and to sites of antiquity were so very special. Being allowed to ride an Arabian Dancer was ever so much better. May God bless you and your family.
