Adela Gonzalez, age 88, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 2, 2026. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, friend, and will be dearly missed. Adela is preceded in death by her parents: Miguel and Higinia Morga, her brother: Jose Ramon Montenegro, and her sister: Maria Del Carmen Limones. She is survived by her children: Hector Gonzalez, Virginia Troncoso (Adrian), her brother: Jose Emilio Montenegro, as well as her three grandchildren: Kristina Was, Amanda Marquez, and Natalie Marquez. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends who cherish and honor her memory.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Sunset Funeral Homes-West, with a Rosary to commence at 6:30 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. With a graveside service to commence at 1:00 pm at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery.
