Adela L. Senica

1946 - 2024

Adela L. Senica, 77, of Jeannette, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, while surrounded by loved ones. She was born on Oct. 24, 1946, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Wilbert and Louise Pollard Demorest. Adela loved to spend time with her family. Adela cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and homemaker, and she enjoyed listening to talk shows on AM radio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Demorest Sr. and Marvin Demorest; and one sister, Charlene Kerlin. She is survived by two sons, David Senica (Cindy) and John Senica; one daughter, Christie Senica; one brother, Wilbert Demorest; one sister, Carrie Ruzyc (John); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Sunday, from 2 to 5 p.m., with a service at 5 p.m. Interment will be private at Westmoreland Memorial Park.
