Adele Crabtree

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Adele Bryant Crabtree, age 89, of Fayetteville, Tennessee. She passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Adele was born on March 11, 1936, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to the late Henry R. Bryant and Nellie Clardy Bryant. She was a dedicated graduate of Blanche High School and a long-time, faithful member of the Liberty Church of Christ. Adele dedicated 23 years of her professional life to Nursing with Amana, where she provided compassionate care until her retirement in 1992.

A woman whose greatest joy was her family, Adele leaves behind a beautiful legacy. Survivors include her grandchildren, Whitney (Dakota) Duncan and Casey (Kayla) Crabtree, and her great-grandchildren, Diesel Duncan, Axle Duncan, Willow Duncan, and Raiden Crabtree. She is also survived by her siblings, Willard Bryant, David Bryant, Judy Gray, Barbara Pepper, Patsey Willis, and Dennis Bryant, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Henry R. and Nellie Bryant, Adele was preceded in death by her beloved son, Marcus "Marc" Crabtree, and her siblings: Billy Bryant, Marvin Bryant, Leon Bryant, Brenda Tallman, Daniel Bryant, Peggy Sharp, Jewell Rowell, and Inell Qualls.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Lincoln Cemetery with Bro. Bob Williams officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
