Adele P. Dauerman

Adele Phyllis Dauerman, age 89, passed away on February 4, 2024. Born in Bronx, NY on September 23, 1934, Adele attended the University of Wisconsin and NYU and married her beloved Edwin in 1955 and have enjoyed 68 years together. She worked as an Assistant Teacher, Jewelry and Accessory Consultant. Adele always had a smile and never lost her NY accent, she was feisty, strong and loving to the end. Adele was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her son, Bruce Dauerman; parents, Minnie and Harry Kaufman and sister, Carol (Melvin) Polansky. Survived by her husband, Edwin Dauerman; son, Paul Dauerman; granddaughters, Sarah (Kevin) Jackson and Stephanie Dauerman; great granddaughter, Abigail Jackson; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her family would like to thank the many family and friends who supported her with her battle with Alzheimer's. Thanks to the caregivers at The Grand, Options Home Services, Gentiva Hospice, The Gerlach Center and especially Bickford of Worthington and their staff for providing quality enrichment and activities. Private services will be held on February 8 with a memorial service for friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Adele's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
