Adele Doyle (Bernard)
Clinton-Adele (Bernard) Doyle, 56, passed peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at UMass Medical Center-University Campus following a brief illness. She is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Robert J. Doyle; their children, Domenic J. Doyle & wife Delena; Anthony R. Doyle; and Jennifer A. Doyle; and three adoring grandchildren, John, Xavier, and Raelynn. She leaves her siblings and their spouses, Gerard Bernard & Jessie, Fred Bernard & Suzanne, Edward Bernard & Rhonda, Jeannette Jatrinski & Ronald, Madeleine Wheeler & Brian, Ann Hughes, and Cecile Patricks & Ronald; generations of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is pre-deceased by her brother Raymond Bernard.
Adele was born in Clinton, daughter of the late Jean & Loretta (Dubois) Bernard. She graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 1984 and obtained her Medical Assistant Certification from Salter College. In addition to raising her family, Adele worked for Nypro, Inc. for many years as a quality control clerk and was most recently employed as a pharmacy technician at CVS in Clinton. Actively involved in her community, she was a member of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish and held membership with the Clinton VFW-Ladies Auxiliary. Adele enjoyed family camping trips, summers at the beach, and preparing holiday meals for those she loved most. She was happiest while caring for her family and most proud in her roles as a loving mother and meme. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 5 until 7PM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster.
