Adele Grady Obituary
Born in Melrose on April 13, 1917, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Sara (Fay) Bissell.
Mrs. Grady was a graduate of Melrose High School class of 1935 and also a graduate of Simmons College class of 1939. A member of St. Joseph Parish, Adele had been a Wakefield resident for over 55 years. She had retired from the Winchesters Schools as a para-professional and had also been a member of the Simmons Club (Alumni Association).
Mrs. Grady was the wife of the late Leo C. Grady. She was the mother of James Grady of Wakefield and Peter Grady and his wife Cheryl of Chatham. She was the sister of Nancy Hall of Portsmouth, RI and the late George Bissell, Joseph Bissell and Marie Liepke. She was the grandmother of Tara and Shawna Grady.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St. Wakefield on Friday at 10 AM. Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave Wakefield. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery.
