Adele MAXWELL

MAXWELL, Adele G., 87, of Chester, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Harold T. Sr. and Lottie Cox Goyne. She was a longtime, active member of Chester United Methodist Church, where she sang in the church choir for over 60 years. She is survived by her husband, William R. Maxwell of Chester; two daughters, Carolyn A. Maxwell of Chester, Janet M. Carowan and husband, Art, of Avon, Ind.; granddaughter, Stephanie M. Carowan of Springfield, Va.; grandson, Ben Carowan of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a brother, James A. Goyne and wife, Sally of Dallas, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Nothera Goyne and Pat Goyne; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Chester United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Margaret Kutz officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
