Adeline Veronica D'Elia

Adeline Veronica D'Elia (Lee Gilmore), 73, of Maywood, passed away on January 09, 2026. Born in Queens, NY, raised in Paramus and settled in Maywood 28 years ago. Before retiring she was a sales associate for Burlington Coat Factory in Paramus and was an editor and publisher of obituaries for the Record Newspaper in Woodland Park. Adeline was the President of Clutters Anonymous, ASPCA Advocate, a CCD teacher for Church of the Sacred Heart School and a parishioner of Church of the Sacred Heart Church in Rochelle Park. She was very proud of receiving her associate's degree in psychology from William Paterson University. Preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Adeline Gilmore. Beloved wife of Louis "Lee" John D'Elia. Devoted mother of David D'Elia and his wife Dayanara and William D'Elia of Maywood. Loving grandmother of Iliana and Noelie. Dear sister of Kathy Scrivana, Cristine Osbourne and Laura Lee. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday January15, 2026, 10:00 am at Di Chiara Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi for a 11:00 am Funeral Mass at Church of the Sacred Heart in Rochelle Park.
