Adell Sharp Obituary
Adell dedicated many years of service to the Hardin County Health Department before her retirement in 2002. Adell was an avid reader who had a passion for genealogy. Her love for the beach and spending time with family was a well-known aspect of her life.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Sharp Martin; two brothers, Halbert L. Sharp, Mitchell C. Sharp; two nephews, Jerry L. Sharp, Carson Martin; two nieces, Lisa Sharp and Sheila F. Martin.
Adell is survived by her nieces, Rhonda K. Carter, Julie A. Davis (Frank), Melinda S. Lee (Christopher), Crystal G. Carr (Jonathan); a nephew, Vincent Martin; and a host of great nieces & great nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday, February 22, 2025 and from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Ms. Sharp will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Pastor Brian Combs officiating. Burial will follow at the Custer United Methodist Church Cemetery.
