Adler James Champagne, Sr., 89, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. He was a native of Luling and a resident of Des Allemands, LA.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Saturday, August 17, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with burial following in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Des Allemands, LA.
Adler is survived by his sons, Brian Champagne (Angie), and Mark Champagne; daughters, Anne Braun (Buddy) and Karen Kelone (Herman); sisters, Mary Ann Lendle and Margie Bucher; and 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Adler was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Jeannette DeRoche Champagne; son, Adler “Junie” Jr., Floyd, and Ralph Champagne; daughter-in-law, Cathey Champagne; brothers, Kenneth “Coopie”, Stanley, Ralph and William Champagne; and sister, Jeanette Nicholay.
