Adolfo "Fito" Montoya-Rodriguez, late of Cedar Creek, Texas, passed away at the

hospital on October 31, 2025, from liver failure, he was sung to infinite sleep by his wife

and children by his side.

Adolfo was born on July 16, 1963, in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. He earned an electrician

diploma from El Centro Social Cristiano "Santisima Trinidad" and worked as an

independent contractor specializing in tile application.

A funny, stubborn, and lively man, Adolfo was a proud Mexican who was always there

for his family, never expecting anything in return. His greatest accomplishment was

being a father-he never missed a school pickup or a family event, always showing up

for those he loved. Being present, in every sense, mattered deeply to him. A dedicated

provider and hard-working family man, Adolfo enjoyed carne asadas, playing his

favorite radio station "La Rancherita del Aire" from his cassette boombox, and a glass of

sangria by his bedside at night. Surrounded by his loud, loving family, he was

everyone's favorite uncle-known for his famously bad comedic timing.

Adolfo is survived by his wife, Maria Palacios; his children, Adolfo Daniel, Maria

Montoya, Jesus Montoya, and Mariana Montoya; his siblings, Ofelia Montoya, Rosa

Montoya, Luz Montoya, Juanita Hernandez, Maria G. Montoya, Cesar Montoya, and

Carlos Montoya; his nieces, Argelia Fuentes-Montoya, Claudia Fuentes-Montoya, and

Wendolynne Rodriguez-Montoya; his nephews, Alexander Rodriguez- Montoya, José

Ernesto, Isidro, José Ramón, Juan José Rosario Luna Palacios and his great-niece,

Luna Kelley-Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria del Carmen

Montoya Rodriguez and Adolfo Montoya-Fuentes; and his brother Benito Montoya-

Rodriguez.

A mass and a celebration of life for Adolfo will be held at a later date. The family kindly

asks that condolences be expressed in the form of meals for the family.

Ernesto, Isidro, José Ramón, Juan José Rosario Luna Palacios and his great-niece,

Luna Kelley-Rodriguez.
