Campbell Sr. and Lottie Kerns Campbell. At the young age of 17, AB enlisted in the US Army as a medic and paratrooper under the 505th parachute infantry regiment of the 82nd airborne division completing 42 military jumps. After 20 years of service, serving on 3 continents in countries such as Germany, Japan, Korea, France, and the USA, AB retired and went into the USPS for 23 years.
AB is preceded by his parents Lottie Kerns and Fred L. Campbell, Sr.; sister, Jean Rozier; brother Joseph Campbell and two sons A.B. (Bernie) Campbell, Jr. and Scott (Carmen) Campbell.
AB and wife, Mavis D. Myers enjoyed 71 marvelous years of marriage.
