Adolph "Duke" Perez, 90, of Apple Valley, CA passed away at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fontana on January 17. Duke was born in Corona, CA. on August 31, 1935, to Gregorio and Angelita Perez and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Duke attended Corona Senior High School, class of 1953, and later Chaffey College where he earned a degree in Ethnic Studies. Duke married Irene Mejia of Corona, CA. and lived in Corona for several years before relocating to Ontario, CA. where they raised their three children, Martin, Daniel, and Deniece.

Duke owned and operated Ontario Plaza Barbers for over 40 years, and worked and earned a full retirement with the US Postal Service in the City of Industry, CA.

Duke is survived by his wife Irene of 69 years, and their sons Marty (wife Mary) Perez of Apple Valley, CA., Danny (wife Erin) Perez of Yucaipa Ca, and daughter Deniece Perez of Apple Valley, Ca. Duke is also survived by sisters Ofelia Alcala, and Alice Vargas of Corona, CA., Rosie Esquivel of Little Rock AR. and brother John Perez from Riverside, CA,

Duke is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends.

Duke was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Pete, Armando, Richard, Tony, Reuben, Robert, Edward, George, and sister Katherine.

Services will be held, on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, with a viewing from 10:00am-11:00am followed by a Christian Service from 11:00am-12:00pm at Preston and Simons Mortuary (3358 Mission Inn Ave. Riverside, CA 92501).

Burial will follow at 1:15pm at Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA. 92518) and then a celebration of life will be held from 2:30pm-4:30pm at El Torito Mexican Restaurant (3680 Inland Empire Blvd, Ontario, CA. 91764).
