Mrs. Adona Jean Lickliter, 77, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at her residence. Services will be private.
Mrs. Lickliter was born in Blue Ridge, GA, on July 4, 1947, to Arthur J. and Margaret Ross Wilson. She was employed as the Manager of Dollar General before her retirement. Mrs. Lickliter enjoyed walking around her property when she could and just enjoying being at her home. Her favorite meal was shrimp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis Lee and Legina Wilson.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, George Lickliter of Buena Vista, GA; by a son and daughter-in-law, George Jeffrey and Kimberly Lickliter of Cusseta, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and David Jannot of Buena Vista, GA; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert “Bill” Wilson of Turtletown, TN, and James and Mary Jo Wilson of Florida; and four grandchildren, Stryder Jannot, Jeffrey Jordan Lickliter, Payton Donna-Beth Lickliter, and Kourtney Lickliter.
Way-Watson Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, Georgia has been entrusted with these arrangements.
