Adonnis attended and graduated from Glenn High School in June 2011. He completed coursework at Guilford Technical Community College.
Nahshon was gifted mechanically and his talents included maintaining equipment in restaurants and manufacturing facilities. His talents allowed him to live coast to coast, spending time working in Silicon Valley and more recently back home in North Carolina, his exemplary talent allowed him to travel internationally, most recently visiting Italy. He was employed with Ontex and was in the process of transitioning to a position with Drylock Technologies.
He was a car enthusiast, an avid skateboarder, and a cartoonist. He also enjoyed biking and hiking. Adonnis will always be remembered for the dimples in his cheeks when he smiled, and as the songwriter and his grandma Donnis would say, "When you are smiling, the whole world smiles with you."
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bishop Charles Hood and Ora Bell Jones; maternal grandmother, Donnis M. Barner; and a great aunt, Edna Evans, who affectionately and lovingly referred to him as Nation.
